First I want to say that everybody is different and has different:
- budget
- therapy goals
- size of the room
- day schedule
- issues and priorities
My personal therapeutic goals are:
- improve the health and look of my skin (anti-aging)
- reduction of muscle and joint pain
- more energy to get more things done
- better night sleep and waking up earlier with more energy and zest for life
- preventing further loss of my hair—perhaps re-growing if possible
I mostly use two red light therapy devices to achieve my therapy goals: Large—full body therapy panel Mito Pro 1500X and small, handheld therapy light Mito Pro Mobile.
Large red light therapy panel—Mito Pro 1500X
Small, handheld and portable red light therapy panel—Mito Pro Mobile
I use my large panel Mito Pro 1500X almost everyday—usually in the evening, after a bath—for 10 minutes red light therapy session on the front (5min) and the back (5min) of my body. I used to do 10min with my older panels, but looking how bright this panel is - it has enough light intensity to get things done in half the time. Some days—when I had not good sleep - maybe due to watching TV to long or partying— I do a 10 min light therapy session in the morning—to boost my energy levels. It works for athletes and surely it should work for me too! I do feel more energetic afterwards. Try by yourself - instead of drinking another cup of coffee.
Mito Pro 1500X is large enough to shine on 3/4 of my body - from the top of my head to the middle of my thighs. I prioritise top part of my body as I don't feel like my leg muscles and knees need very special treatment. If I had tired legs or achy knees - I would lower the light to the floor and shine light on them as well. There are red light therapy panels that are truly full body lights—Mito Pro Mega or Elite. Sadly in my small English home, there is no space for them. If you live in bigger home - consider them as best option for full body therapy.
In days I am too tired to use my big red light therapy panel—I take my small handheld light—Mito Pro Mobile and do red light therapy session in bed. I can hold the light in front of my face for 5 min—for skin therapy (anti-aging) and then I place it on top of my head - which is easy on a pillow - for another 5min to shine light on my bold patch.
My wife does not like to stand in front of the large panel—she prefers to seat at her beauty desk and do therapy just for her face-neck-and shoulders. For this she uses out tabletop panel — Mito Pro 300X
Table top red light therapy panel — Mito Pro 300X
I demonstrate it in this video here:
We have other red light therapy equipment like:
- light belt
- light torch
- red light table lamp
